Alumicor champions LEED^® with recycled aluminum!

Alumicor is committed to providing superior architectural aluminum building envelope products which will assist in qualifying towards certification points in the LEED green building certification program.

By offering architectural aluminum profiles extruded exclusively in recycled aluminum billet, Alumicor provides product which complies with the requirements of Materials and Resources Credit 4 for Recycled Content under USGBC LEED green building certification program.

New Stadium Salutes Yankees’ History

Located across the street from the original stadium built in 1923, much of the new Yankee Stadium incorporates design elements from the original stadium, saluting the Yankees' history.

Designed by HOK Sport Facilities, the project was managed by Turner Construction, with Alumicor high performance curtain wall supplied by our dealer, Genetech Building systems Inc.

Power Stream HO Achieves LEED Gold!

The new Power Stream Head Office, seen from Highway 400, is the first office building in York Region, north of Toronto, to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) gold certification.

Alumicor VersaWall 2500 series curtain wall, with blue-tinted glazing, ensured superior performance, appearance and functionality. The design team consisted of Belrock Design Build Inc., Battaglia Architects Inc., Torplan Consultants Inc. and JVF Consultants (1998) Inc. Landscape Architects.
